 About Us Banarsidas Chandiwala Centre for Psychological Research provides a wide range of psychological services including assessment, counselling, training, and research with an objective to develop the capability of the clients to improve the quality of their present and future life. The centre offers treatment for various emotional, interpersonal, cognitive and behavioural problems. These problems may be associated with physical or mental illnesses, or they may reflect difficulties of adjustment to the challenges of daily living. The centre provides a comprehensive range of psychological and neuropsychological assessment and psychotherapy for all age groups.
The Centre is being run under the expert guidance and consultation of an eminent Psychologist, Dr (Ms) Ashum Gupta who is professor and head, Department of psychology, University of Delhi. She is a Fulbright research scholar being actively engaged in teaching, research and clinical work over the last 33 years. A gold-medallist from Delhi University and recipient of several prestigious national and international awards and fellowships, she has conducted workshops and delivered seminars in several countries such as Australia, Canada, UK, USA, Belgium, etc. She has published several research articles in reputed national and international journals and books. She has also contributed extensively her thoughts and ideas for public awareness and education in newspapers, magazines, TV and All India Radio. She has been conducting need-based training programmes for parents, students, teachers and corporate world.

High-Tech Psychology Lab Psychology Lab at the Centre for Psychological Research is equipped with state-of-the-art technology, using update research-based assessment techniques including computerized assessment and intervention techniques.
Clinical Services Offered For Children and Adolescents The centre provides assessment, intervention and support services for children and family members helping them understand the developmental process and their special needs. Our emphasis is on parent education and liaison with school that is involved with child on a regular basis.
The vast majority of children and adolescents seen by us do not suffer from mental illness. Most have academic, intellectual/cognitive, emotional and behavioural problems that need professional help. Who needs care?
